A non technical event Assault Arena was held on 18th of February 2016. It was an eye catching game of Acclivity 2k16, obstructions were kept on ground and balloons filled with water were used in this event.
Around 10 teams were participated, each team had 5 members and prizes worth Rs 5,000 were given.
This event organized by Department of Civil Engineering.

The workshop was conducted on 9th, 10th and 11th of March, 2016 on “Hands on Computer Aided Drafting“. The total number of participants were 56. The aim of the workshop was to train the students perfectly in the use of AUTO CAD for drafting of various building drawings and construction objects. This workshop proved to be beneficial for the students from the potential competency point of view which will be useful for their future prospects in the construction field.
The workshop was successfully completed and valedictory and certificate distribution program was held on 11th March, 2016. The certificate distribution to the participants who completed the workshop successfully was done by Dr. A. B. More, HOD civil and Mr. Kiran Patil, CADD center incharge.

The inauguration of programme is done by Dr. Ashok B. More, Acclivity Head & Head of Department of Civil Engineering & Mr. Prashant Kulkarni training placement officer of PVPIT C.O.E. & the testing of all cubes were did by under the supervision of Mr. Vinesh S. Thorat, Event Head.
There were 27 entries for C-Cube event from various collages, out of which only three participant eligible for required strength i.e. M20 with 5% tolerance.

Project Competition For Diploma Student
Project Exhibition for Diploma (Civil) students held on 17th & 18 th of February 2016. Around 25 students were participated and prizes worth Rs 25,000 were given.
1st prize won By D.Y. Patil College of Polytechnic Talegon, students . Project Name “Green Building”
2nd prize won by Zeal Polytechnic College Narhe, students. Project Name Vertical Farming.
3rd prize won by Rscoe Collage of Polytechnic Tatawade students. Project Name Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete.
JUNK VILLE was held on 16th of February 2016 under “Acclivity 2k16- a National level Technical Fest”. Students from various engineering college participated in large numbers. Cash prizes worth of 8000 was kept. The event was successfully co-ordinated by Prof.G.P.Jarad and his team. A technical Event Junk Ville in that group of student makes civil engineering model from junk/scrap available in the college.

Purpose of Visit:- To study the actual industrial procedure for manufacturing of Aerated Autoclave Bricks.
Date of Visit:- 27 February 2016(Saturday) 10 AM onwards
The visit was arranged for the fulfillment of syllabus of “CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY” (SE Civil) as prescribed by SPPU, Pune. The main aim of the visit is to show the actual procedure for the manufacturing of the Aerated Autoclave Blocks. SIPOREX INDIA PVT. LTD. Is the very reputed company in the field of manufacturing of AAC Blocks.
The visit was arranged by Mr. Yuvraj B. Khandagale, Ms. Purva S. Kulkarni with the permission of Our HOD Dr. A. B. More. Students had attended the visit who had observed the following points during this visit:
- Ingredients to be used for manufacturing of the SIPOREX AAC Blocks
- Mixing of all the ingredients in proper proportion
- Automated machines
- Autoclave Furnace for the curing of the blocks
Gain from the visits are as follows:
- Students had been able to actually see the manufacturing procedure of the AAC Blocks
- Students had been able to actually see the working of automated machines.
- Students had been able to Work with the experienced personals
Students had been able to gain some field exposure
Tech-hunt was held on 17th of February 2016 under “Acclivity 2k16- a National level Technical Fest”. Students from various engineering college participated in large numbers. Cash prizes worth of 15000 was kept. The event was successfully co-ordinated by Prof. P.R. Minde and his team. A technical treasure hunt is type of game with one or more players who try to find hidden objects or places by using a series of technical clues.
