11TH ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

 Zeal and zest at Prodigy’s Fest.

Annual Sports Meet of Prodigy Public School was inaugurated by Mr. Firoz Shaikh, Sahara International Hockey Coach. On this occasion Dr.Manimala Purity,Director JSPM,and Mrs. Amita Kamat,Asst. Director JSPM Schools were the guest of honour.  Dr. Manimala Purity stressed the importance of values in one’s life. Mrs.Amita Kamat congratulated students for participating with enthusiasm. After the arrival of guests school hosting committee welcomed them. Then lamp lightening was done by the guests while Saraswati Vandana was sung by choir group.School’s Flag was hoisted by the chief guests. After this the Investiture Ceremony was conducted.Master Harsh Jobanputra and Miss Marwa Shaikh were honoured with the badgesof Head boy and Head girl respectively. Other captains were also honoured by the chief guests. Principal Mrs. Anuya Salve gave oath to newly appointed school’s council. Then Head Boy And Head Girl proceeded with the torch which was lit by the chief guest.Nikhil Khandve, Rishita Maru, Ayush Chavan, Said Jadhav, Vikas Tirthani, Tanya Sinha, Satyam Chand and Bharvi Chabda carried forward the torch. Then chief guest Mr. Firoz Shaikh accepted Guard of honour given by Four Houses. This was followed by fabulous dance and live singing for Ganesh Vandana. All the audience applauded for this performance. After the release of the balloons and cutting the ribbon chief guest announced formally the opening of Annual Sports Meet. SR K.G. students competed in the first event of Hurdle Race.Chief guest and guest of honour played a volleyball show match and the three days grand sports event started. On this occasion Dr. S.N.Patil,campus director, JSPM Wagholi,Mr. Amit Kharade,Prof. Shah,Dr. Sachin Admane, Dr. Dadhe,Principal Mrs.Anuya Salve, Vice principal Mrs. Reeju Kothat, Coordinators Mrs. Ashwini Kakade, Mrs. Nusrat Shaikh, teaching and non teaching staff were present. Miss Srushti Khese,Mast. Siddhartha Sharma,Mast. Vipul Shinde and Miss Helicopter Parekh anchored the programme.

CHRISTMAS DAYS CELEBRATION

Date:24-12-2016

 Under the blue sky, with the crescent moon seen along with the brighter sun in the lush green surroundings of Prodigy Public School and Junior College’s ground, Christmas celebration was observed by all the prodigians. Hon. Principal Mrs. Anuya Salve presided over the function while Mrs. Ashwini Kakade and Mrs. Nusrat Shaikh accompanied her. Programme commenced with the song ‘ Angels we have heard’ followed by ‘ Bind Us together’ by the senior choir group headed by Ms. Praniti Kulkarni, Aarti, and Shreya. ‘ Joy to the world’ was third song in the sequence which was greatly appreciated by the audience especially primary section.  Then Class 6th A student master P. Abhijit presented  information about Christmas Celebration.  Then another choir group of sang two more carols entitled  ‘Santa Claus’ and ‘ Flewis Nevada’   After that Miss Shrushti Kulkarni told about Santa claus.  Third choir group sang ‘ We wish you merry christmas’ and jingle bells.  Class Tenth C students Suyash, Ashish, Sujay, and Dhanraj san new year song. For all these songs Music assistance was done by Master Durgaprasad Maharana , Miss Isha Sabde on Casio while triple was played by Master Mrudul and  Aryan Pardeshi. Two little and one big Santa were welcomed by all the audience. Everybody wished Santa , waved to them and sought gifts from Santa. To the most students’ surprise those whose birthdays are falling in this week of Christmas vacation were called on the stage, the grand celebration of birthdays was done where students’ joy knew no bounds. Principal Mrs. Anuya Salve Madam wished everybody a happy Christmas and new year ahead. The  entire music arrangement was done by Mrs. Gauri Pandit which the programme was anchored by Mr. Hanumant Deshmukh.

INTER SCHOOL MUSIC COMPETITION

Music, which has now become the soul of Prodigy Public School, Wagholi, in its harmony, is bringing out the many characteristics of the musical – ethics which is absolutely evident.

Unlike the past, it has once again raised the bar high by putting up an outstanding Inter – House Singing Competition. The Music Department has significantly evolved, thus shaping itself to create interests and activity amongst the students. It has produced fine Choir’s and Soloists over the years; this was obvious in the Inter House Singing competition held on 23rd September 2016 on the auspicious occasion of our Patron Hon. Giriraj Sawant Sir’s Birthday.

It was the most awaited day for the five schools who put every effort into this yearly event with a hope of outshining each other.

The Competition was divided into three categories:

  • Instrumental (Jugalbandi)
  • Junior Group Song
  • Senior Group Song

Music was in the air throughout the afternoon and it was fascinating to witness all the schools who had participated put up quite a magnificent performance and each one was outstanding and kept the audience enthralled.

Mr.Prem Kotwal and Mr. Arun Gurav were the esteemed judges for the competition. Campus Director Prof.Vijay Sawant Sir, Assist. Campus Director Dr.S.N.Patil Sir, Campus Supervisor Mr.Dadhe Sir was also present on this occasion.

The Competition commenced with a warm welcome speech by the Principal Mrs.Anuya Salve followed by the Inspirational and Motivational speech by Hon.Giriraj Sawant Sir.

The trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners by the judges and the Principal Mrs. Anuya Salve.

The musical evening concluded with the vote of thanks appreciating the efforts put in by the staff and the students in making the event a grand success.

Inter School Music Competition (12-12-2015)

On 12th December 2015, Prodigy Public School witnessed an array of fascinating performances as the proud host of the Inter School Vocal and Instrumental Music Competition 2015 The Principal, Mrs. Anuya Salve extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests Ms.Gandhali Madam & Mrs.Shostri Madam. In all nine teams, participated and mesmerized one And all with their scintillating performances.The Chief Guest Ms.Gandhali an eminent vocalist, in her speech lauded the singing talent of the students and advocated that music plays an instrumental role in inculcating humane virtues and getting rid of vices and social evils. She also enthralled the audience with her captivating and spellbinding voice. The Final Winners were felicitated by giving away the Trophies and Momento.

10th Annual Sports Day (16-12-2015)

“All works and no play make Jack a dull boy”. This proverb highlights the importance of playful activities in our life.Prodigy Public School’s 10th Annual Sports Meet was held on Wednesday, 16th December 2015 was the grandest and the most awaited event in the school calendar. Dr.Wilson Andrews (National Foot Ball Coach), Mr.Satyajeet Shinde (National Malkhamb Player and Coach) were the chief guest for the day along with Guest of Honour Dr.R.S.Joshi Sir ( Director JSPM), Mrs.Joshi Madam, Dr.Manimala Puri Madam (Director JSPM), Prof.Vijay Sawant Sir (Campus Director), Dr.S.N.Patil Sir( Assistant Campus Director), Mr.Dadhe Sir (Campus Supervisor) consented their presence on this auspicious occasion. The glittering opening ceremony commenced with the Welcome Song followed by Religious Dance performed by the tiny tots of Sr. KG, energetic and fantabulous Aerobics performed by students of Grade IV & V. Undoubtedly the most solemn part of the ceremony was the Relay of the Torch by the school’s noteworthy sportspersons, and the Athletes’ March Past. The Principal administered the oath to the students; thereafter the Chief Guest hoisted the flag and declared the Meet open, amidst thunderous applause.

10th Annual Sport Day (Closing Ceremony)

Prodigy Public School celebrated its week long sports meet ceremony on 22nd December 2015.The dignitaries present on the occasion included Prof. Giriraj Sawant Sir ( Director JSPM); Mrs.Shilpa Chillal (National Coach,Judo) Campus Director Prof Vijay Sawant Sir, Assistant Campus Director Dr. S.N. Patil Sir, Campus Supervisor Mr. Dadhe Sir and all the other HOD’s of various institutes of the campus. 4 days programme started with guard of honor to the Chief Guest escorted by school leaders by welcome song & followed by traditional saraswati Vandana. The ground looked beautiful with march past by four houses Emerald ,Sapphire,Topaz & Ruby saluting the dignitaries.Later the programmer was followed by karate and Pyramid Demonstration and last but not the least the programme ended with the prize distribution to our champions.

Arushi ,the Star at the Threshold of Prodigy Public School.

Special,”Tara Zameen Par”!

Arushi Bhatnagar, a student of Prodigy Public School-Wagholi, Class-VIII truly befits being called a Prodigy as she has made everyone awestruck by her incredible achievements in the field of art at a very tender age  and shines as a star.

                  Arushi has proved that art is not at the mercy of age. The mysteries of nature are unveiled by understanding the young Arushi’s life. She started showing her magnetic attraction for colours and brush when she was barely 4 months old. This interest was nourished by her parents who were amazed and thrilled at the same time. By the age of 11 months Arushi  had a collection of 700 paintings to show to the world. A solo exhibition was organized in Ujjain on 11 May 2003 at Kalidasa Academy and she made her place in Guinness World Record as the Youngest Professional Artist in the World. This was her first public appearance and live demo before an audience of about 65-70 people.The event was telecast in 180 countries. She was felicitated by the President of India,Smt. Pratibha Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi for her contribution to the art stream across the globe. In 2005 she was runner up in the Youngest POGO Amazing Kids Award and invited as chief guest to inaugurate Shankar’s International  Exhibition and New Art Gallery at Emerald Heights School,Indore. She received gold medal from the state minister and was awarded by the Vice Chancellor of DAVV university ,Indore. She made her solo exhibition at National Bal Bhavan ,New Delhi on International Children’s  Day. Metro, CO.UK has recognized her as part of the ‘Top 5 Record Breaking Kids’ in the world and Bangkok based SIT recognized her as one of the ‘Top 16 Girls We Envy’. Arushi’s achievement has been published in CBSE course of 4th Standard,General Knowledge Book. Her paintings are in a collection at President House and has been sold abroad to the collectors in U.S.A.,Italy,Hungary and Dubai.

                  Till date, our 13 years  old Arushi has made more than 3000 paintings, 14 solo and 2 group exhibitions, received 9 awards,25 honours, has collections with renowned galleries and artists and has already sold her 10 art works. This known child prodigy,an artist across the globe holds several accolades to her name and has been a 100% awardee of scholarship in all her schools.

She is not just a kid but also a responsible citizen . She has been using her scholarship amount and earnings from sale of her paintings to help NGOs, supporting orphans and deaf and dumb children.

Achievements


  1. Mast. Malhar Dave a Student of Std III secured 2nd Rank in International Level English Olympiad and was falicitated witg a Trophy & a Nikon Coolpix Camera.
  2. Adhira Kulkarni in age group 7-9 yrs stood first in the following
    National competitions.

a)In 12th National Karate championship 2011 held at Golbagh Indoor Stadium,Amritsar,Punjab from 21st to 25th May 2011 that was organised by world Shatokan karate- Do Federation, India.

b)In 17th State Level Invitational Karate Championship held at baramati . on 27th & 28 Aug. 2011 .

 3.Mayuri Jadhav of std V stood First in Pune city and Fifth in Maharashtrastate in Navneet drawing competition that was held in June’09 and Om Mehta of std VI stood second in  the same competition.

4.Our 75 students have appeared for Intermediate and Elementary drawing exam i.e conducted by Govt of Maharashtra where by our 18 students are rewarded with grade “A” while 57 have received grade “B”. Total result is 100%.

Parents to note the Olympiad exam schedule. The exam will be conducted in school itself on the mentioned dates.

We, Prodigian, originator, creator and founder of new paths have now reached at the peak of success in the year of 2012-2013. Today, we are at the stage, where the fruits are ready to be tasted and flowers are ready to spread the fragrance in the world. In this academic year the students of the STD 9th and 10th are ready to face the landmark of their life i.e. the board exam. Besides following all the rules the highest point to create healthy and educating environment among the students.

Many activities have been conducted throughout the year to bring out the hidden potential of each of every students of 9th and 10th students were prepared and given a complete knowledge of various fields and its opportunities with the help of meeting, talks, discussions and so on.

With the help of well qualified & experienced teaching staff, well furnished classes, well equipped laboratories, modernized computer lab we provided qualitative and enriching knowledge & education to the students of STD 9th & 10th. Assessment of the student’s knowledge had been done with proper criteria given by CBSC Boards rules and norms. To prove all the required events and its utmost level, we have sent a detailed information, evidences, and reports with their photographs recently. Besides taking class test, weekly and monthly, we conducted four Formative Assessment Exam to test the level of each and every student, of STD 9th & 10th.

Overall, we as a school, handling the responsibility of students of STD 9th & 10th had created positive outlook, level of confidence general, social & environmental awareness, scientific attitude, challengeable youth, healthy and brave citizens of tomorrow from our school. And we ensure that the path, which we have founded and created will always be never ending.
