M.Pharm


Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has been established in the year 1998, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Prof. T. J. Sawant Sir, Founder Secretory. The objective of JSPM is to create centers of excellence for education in the field of pharmaceutical science, engineering, management, computer application etc. JSPM has over the years, knitted together a network of 5 educational campuses throughout the length and breadth of Pune. There are 69 institutes under the aegis of JSPM offering full-fledged school education, diploma, graduation and post-graduation in various disciplines. JSPM has the rare feat of starting three B. Pharm and one D.Pharm College in a single year.

We have Pharmacy courses at Tathawade, Wagholi and Hadapsar Campus. The details of Pharmacy courses campus wise are as follow,

Duration: 02 years (I to IV Semesters) – Semester Pattern

Affiliation: Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Approvals: Recognized by DTE, Govt. of Maharashtra.
                     Approved by PCI & AICTE, New Delhi

Specialization: Pharmaceutics

 Eligibility

To be eligible for First Year Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) admission, the candidate should

  1. The candidate should be an Indian National and who possess bachelors degree of equivalent in Pharmacy from any AICTE approved institution, with at least 55% marks (at least 50% marks in case of SC/ST category AND Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
  2. Should have non-zero Score in MAH-MPH-CET 2016, if the candidate has neither appeared for GPAT 2016 nor having valid and qualified GPAT 2016 All India Rank / Total Score.
  3. In case percentage, marks in the B. Pharmacy Examination comes in fraction then percentage of marks shall be rounded off as explained in the example for the purpose of deciding the eligibility of the candidate.

Example: If the percentage of marks comes out to be 49.50% to 49.99% then it shall be rounded to 50% and if the percentage of marks comes out to be 49.01% to 49.49% then it shall be rounded to 49%.

Note : Qualifying the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is compulsory for awarding any fellowship. However, it is not mandatory for seeking admission to the M. Pharm. Course.

 

Registration

Registration as a Post-graduate student is essential within one month of his/her admission to the course.

The Postgraduate student in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will not be permitted to register his/her name simultaneously for Diploma or Degree course of University of Pune or any other College / Institution.

JSCOPR offers Graduation as well as Post-Graduation courses in disciplines like Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance with four Ph.Ds along with highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching staff. All other staff members have been registered for Ph.D.

The college is situated in beautifully landscaped campus at Hadapsar and has a pollution-free, lush green and picturesque environment conducive for learning and is approved by PCI, AICTE, DTE and is affiliated to University of Pune.
