  • Be student Shweta Phulaware, Dhange Shubhangi & Umesh Gaikwad are Awarded as a “Promising Innovator” in KPIT SPARKLE 2017 project competition.
  • Yogesh Oza has successfully completed Internship on ARM.
  •  TE Student Shekhar Sulgiti and Abhijit Buddhelkar has Secure First Prize in Kho Kho at VEDANT 2016 ,at B. J. Medical College.
  •  SE student Sujit Jha Own the 2n dPrize in “INFINITY 16”in Chess Competition on 31st Jan 2016 at Ness Wadia college of comm.
  • Ritesh R Rajkawar has own Silvar Medal in Maharashtra State Kickboxing Championship in 51 kg category .Maharashtra State Kickboxing Championship in 54 kg category.
  •  BE student Vishal Babare played a cricket match at state level, District level and Awarded by Pune district cricket Association on 23rd Feb 2017.

ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-16

FRESHER’S PARTY (2015-16) (E&TC) REPORT

The fresher’s (welcome) party organized by TE(E&TC) students for  all the SE(E&TC)students. The program was organized on 22nd Aug2015 from 12:45pm to 4:00pm at room no.506 (seminar Hall). All the dignitaries on the dice Prof.V.M.Sardar, HOD, Prof. M.B.Tadwalkar, Prof. P.P.Gumaste, Prof.S.M.Hambarde and Prof. D.G.Ingale had motivated to the students. The inspirational speech given by Prof.V.M.Sardar. In this program, the Department has facilitated the university ranker students  of SE and TE by distributing them the prizes.

A Workshop on PCB Designing Using OrCAD

JSCOE IEEE Student Branch organised a workshop PCB Designing Using OrCADat Hadapsar Campus on Saturday 11th July 2015.A resource personMr. Pranav Shukla, AStronic Technosystem LLP(Automation simplified) , Bhosari, Pune called for  this workshop. Total 30 IEEE Students Members from E&TC and Electrical branch participated for said workshop. The hands on workshop starts with felicitation of guest by Prof.V.M.Sardar along with Prof.Tushar Mote IEEE Branch counsellor, Prof.M.B.Tadwalkar, Prof.S.S.Jagtapand Prof.N.Y.Tayde .The Workshop starts around 10.45am and finished around 2.30 pm. In workshop modules like 1) Circuit design 2) Net list generation 3) foot print 4) Ready PCB layout in PDF was discussed and demonstrated .Due to hands on the students got quick solution for their doubts. Students very happy with workshop conduction.

A lecture on “Spiritual and Stress Management”

JSCOE IEEE Student Branch organised a guest lecture on “Spiritual and Stress Management Friday 24th July 2015.Dr.A.P.Rao was the person who delivered this lecture for IEEE as well as non IEEE 120 student’s members. The event starts by JSCOE IEEE chairperson Ms Aditi Chavan in her talk she introduce the resource person. Followed Prof.Tushar Mote JSCOE IEEE Counsellor. Mr.Amit Shendge Vice chair JSCOE IEEE student branch given a token of love.

Industrial Visit at Trend Electronics Ltd., Bhalgaon, Aurangabad

Industrial Visit at “Trend Electronics Ltd., Bhalgaon, Aurangabad(Videocon)” was organized by Dept. of Electronics on 31st  Aug. 2015. On receiving the permission from THE TREND ELECTRONICS (VIDEOCON), BE E&TC students(50) with 2 faculty members, Mrs Manjare C. A. and Mr Pawar Sagar  went on an industrial visit to AURANGABAD organised by Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunication on 31st August 2015.

A seminar entitled “Opportunities and preparation for Engineering Graduates at Army/Navy/Air force of Govt. of India” by class-I Army officer, Col. Swami Das Sinha.

He guided our students on Tuesday 2nd Feb 2016,  11a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at Virtual Classroom at JSCOE Hadapsar.

ACADEMIC YEAR 2014-15

1.A expert lectrure by Prof. Shere, Zeal CoE, Pune, was organized for TE E&TC students for enhancing their Power Electronics knowledge.

2. A expert lecture by Mr. Jitendra Date, ARJ industries is organized on Industrial Management for TE students in seminar hall for E&TC students at 2.00 pm on date 24/03/2015.

3.A one day workshop was conducted on PCB designing for the third year students on 17/03/2015 by  MR.Pranav shukla, manager of Astronica.

4.The two days “Industrial Automation & PLC/SCADA Workshop” was jointly organized by TESA and “Sachin N. Kadam & Associates” exclusively for B.E. (E&TC) student’s started on Wednesday, 11th March 2015. The theory lecturers and practicals were conducted in E&TC Department on 11, 12, 14, 15 March 2015.

5.Industrial visit was organized to Film & Television Institute of India, Pune on 09/03/2015 to enhance practical knowledge of Television & Video Engineering.

wo days workshop on Linux from 27/2/2015 to 28/2/2015 was organized to enhance skills of computer Linux operating system and was arranged by TESA in association with Jetking, Hadapsar, and Pune.

  1. Technical visit of B E (E&TC) at BSNL. MKR, Nal stop, Pune from 9/2/2015 to 10/2/2015 was organized as a part of their syllabus of Telecom Switching System subject.

9.ENTC dept had successfully completed the Industrial Visit in the academic year 2014-15, semester II. The BE ENTC students visited to “Symposium on International Automotive Technology 2015” at Automotive Research Association of India, Paud Road, Kothrud, Pune on Saturday 24/01/2015 with 1 staff and 9 students.

  • ENTC dept had successfully completed the Industrial Visit in the academic year 2014-15, semester I. The 137 TE ENTC students visited to “MSEB power substation at lonikand” on Friday 12/09/2014 and 13/09/2014 with 2 staff on each day. The visiting fee of Rs.100/- per students is paid in the MSEB at lonikand.11. A program is organized by APART’ group of Pune for training & coaching of final year students of E&Tc. APART’s training program is made to train the students for company interviews and group discussion. Total 69 students are enrolled for this session (2014-15).

  • The JSCOE IEEE Student branch organized a two day workshop on “RF/IC ANALOG AND DIGITAL DESIGN” conducted on 1st & 2nd August 2014 in Jayawantrao Sawant college of engineering Pune. The resource person for this workshop is from S.M.Technologies, (Sister Concern of RFIC Solutions Inc., USA and S.M. Wireless Solutions Pvt.Ltd, Nagpur).

ACADEMIC YEAR 2013-14

1.On the occasion of Techmanthan-2014 our department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized various events such as Project Competition, Technical Quiz and Technical Extempore. All events has got very good response in the state.  The number of student Participated for all events.

  1. GMRT had organized a Science Day Exhibition which was held  on 28th February and 1st March 2014 at GMRT Observatory, Khodad, Maharashtra. Many projects had been exhibited which were fabulous and the technology used were new and up-to-date. Final year students visited GMRT and transporatation facility was provided by college.

  2. A technical visit of B E (E&TC) at BSNL. MKR, Nal stop, Pune between 3/2/2014 to 5/2/2014 is conducted by TESA. The visit was organized as a part of their syllabus of Telecom Switching System subject.

  3. An talk is given by Dr.A.P.Rao  to show the continuity in science, philosophy and religion entitled as “Research    for   science &   Engineering, Religiously” in International conference on Science,  Technology and Values”, at JDV Centre for Science-Religion studies , Pune, India on 4th Feb.2014. The paper has got published in The Proceedings of the conference jointly organized with Indian Institute of Science and Religion, Pune, IndiaFeb.2014. pp -52-62.

  4. Technical visit of B E (E&TC) at SYMBIOSIS Institute of Media & Communication Lawale, Tal- Mulshi,Dist-Pune was organized on 26/03/2014 as a part of their syllabus of Television Video Engineering subject.

6.The department has successfully conducted the course on “PLC Programming and Automation” of one week duration. The course was jointly organized by TESA and “Sachin Kadam & Associates” in the close monitoring of HOD & coordinators, exclusively for B.E. (E&TC) students which is helpful in their academic subject “Process Automation & PLCs”.  For this course 45 students of B.E.(E&TC) were participated. The course was started on Thursday, 15th March 2014 with the inauguration by Prof V M Sardar, Head, E&TC Department. The theory lecturers and practicals were conducted in E&TC Department on Saturday, 15 March 2014, Saturday, 22 march 2014 and on Tuesday, 25 March For full day (From 9AM-4PM). The 4th Saturday, 22 March 2014 was kept working from 9 AM to 4 PM for this course.

7.A program is organized by APART’ group of Pune for training & coaching of final year students of E&Tc. APART’s training program is made to train the students for company interviews and group discussion. Total 69 students are enrolled for this session (2014-15). The fee for individual student is Rs 1500/-. Per week Four hours are allotted for these classes in regular schedule.

  1. The students of BE [E & TC] A&B Division had an One Day Industrial Visit organized by Department of E&TC. The visit was organized on date 12/01/2013.   They visited the Sugar Factory plant of BHIMA SAHAKARI SAKHAR KARKHANA located at PATAS.

2.The students of SE [E & TC] A & B Division had An One Day Industrial visit organized by Department of E&TC. The visit was organized on date 28/02/2013.   They visited the GMRT KHODAT, Narayangaon on the Science Day.

3.TESA has successfully conducted the course on “PLC Programming and Automation” of one week duration. The course was organized for B.E. (E&TC) students by “Sachin Kadam & Associates” in the close monitoring of HOD & coordinators which is found helpful in their academic subject “Process Automation & PLCs”.

4.A guest lecture entitled “Role of industrial training in shaping carrier and carrier options for electronic engineer” is organized for TE TESA members delivered by Er. Pramod Mankar, Gold medalist Engineering graduate of “Amravati University” of 2002 batch, and presently working with “Fiserv India Ltd., New Delhi” on 18-2-2012 at 11AM in E&Tc department. At the venue, Mr. Mankar is facilitated with the bunch of flowers and memento. The orator has shared his experiences of IBM-India Pvt. Ltd & “Tata consultancy services Ltd.” and guided the students for choosing correct and proper path for their carrier in his lecture.

5.A national level event Technovision-12 was organized on 28th and 29th of Feb. 2012 at JSCOE hadapsar. The glimpse of go green concept and the innovativeness of these entire technical events were revealed when the inauguration took placed by watering the sapling done by chief guest Padmashree lila poonawalla .She gave a very inspiring keynote.

6.The groups of BE students viz. 1.Prafulla Patil. 2.Hemant Thorat.3.Kapil Thakare.4.Pushkar Shah.5.Sourabh Nanaware.6.Sudhir Mali. have participated in IIT TECHFEST 2012 (ROBOWARS), at IIT Powai from 6th to 8th jan with their working model prepared in the department and remained in first 32 groups in an All India competition for undergraduate engineering students.

ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-12

1.A expert lecture on “Networking and Cisco Certification and international certification with Microsoft & Orecle” is organized for BE students in seminar hall of CSE department at 11 AM. The program details are introduced by Dr.Rao and the function is inaugurated by Head of E&Tc department, Prof. Borole by welcoming the expert speakars with a garland. Mr. Prahar and Mr.Ashutosh from “Kar-Rox Technology Ltd., Pune” were the speakars.Mr.Ashutosh have additionally guided the students about “interview skills”. The function is concluded with a cup of tea.

2. The first program of the semester is organized on 28-1-2011 in the department. A lecture entitled  “carrier opportunities in hard-core electronics (automation industries)” to the BE (E&Tc) students is delivered by Mr. Sahir Chopdar, Fox controls Pvt.Ltd, Pune. He has focused on the potential of ‘growth & consistency’ of ‘automation soln. provider’ companies. He has differentiated between IT and Electronics industry setups and cleared the wrong perceptions about electronics  industries.  The orator has suggested the E&Tc students to study and get into hard core automation electronics industries which is suppose to be a good option for placement.

3.The second program of the semester is organized on sat. 10 AM 05-3-2011 in the department. A lecture entitled “fundamentals of Linux” to the TE (E&Tc) students is delivered by Mr.Anant Acharya, JossonIT, FC Road, Pune. He has focused on 1.Introduction of Linux and some other operating systems.  2. Linux specifications  3.How to use the Linux commands. 4. Procedure to change the password.  5. Market Demand of Linux.   6. How the workshop is useful for finding the jobs.  7. Discussion about web-bin and cloud computing.  A question-answer session followed to satisfy the quarries of the students at the end of lecture.  The program is finished with the vote of thanks and by giving memento to the orator.

4. The third program of the semester is organized on sat., 10 AM 05-3-2011 in the department. A lecture entitled “Introduction to PLC/SCADA Training course” to the BE (E&Tc) students is  delivered by Er.Sachin Kadam, E-3, ‘Raunak’, off karve road Pune. He has covered the points as  1.Software: LADSIM (How to write a program using LADSIM for real time application. e.g.Car parking system.)2. Software: LOGO/Soft (How to write program by using functional block diagram.) 3. Software for SCADA: EasyVeep 2.08b1, RSView32 show works. 4. Presentation on Assembly of PLC.   A question-answer session followed to satisfy the queries of the students at the end of lecture. The program is finished with the vote of thanks and by giving memento to the orator
