Special Programs

MBA department has organised an event called Corporate week which was Held on 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th Sep-2014 For MBA Students.

Making a successful transition from campus to corporate is the most exciting and phenomenal step in one’s life and that should be handled with utmost care was the main aim of Celebrating Corporate Week.

This session was organized as a part of Extra-curricular activity by JSPM’S Jayawant Institute of Management Studies, Tathawade, Pune. The motto of this session was basically to improve the confidence and ability to face the difficult situations in students. In this session total five different motivational videos were shown.

To sharpen student’s grasping ability towards health and environment. It makes them aware of recent environment happenings which is very important for the management students. With this view in mind the JSPM’s JIMS organized one event on the theme “Non –Fuel Cooking Competition” on 06-Sept-2014. Through this Competition, students explored the world of healthy cooking and had opportunities to create dishes by themselves.

JIMS Pune organised a event “Tête-à-tête : conversation with RJ Sangram”, Radio Jacky of the year on 11th of August 2015. The event was inaugurated with a prayer to goddess Saraswati.

The event was peculiar in its way that unlike other speakers Sangram Initiated conversation with the students audience and the session went on in its own way. The energetic participation of the students made this event a remarkable one. He shared thoughts mainly on Happiness and Goal setting.

On 22nd August 2015, JIMS organised the activity “GO GREEN” which included two competitions namely “The spice of Life (Cooking Competition)” and Slogan Day “My Environment My Responsibility”.

The Basic Objective Behind this event was to improve the team building, develop the thought process, and embed Skills of Time management, Creativity and innovativeness, Importance of Effective Communication etc. among the MBA & MCA Students.

The event ended successfully by means of enthusiastic participants and encouraging viewers.

On 13th of August 2016, JSPM’s Jayawant Institute of Management Studies, Tathawade, Pune-33 organised a event “Battle of The Bands”: conversation with RJ Rahul of Radio Mirchi”.

This event has attracted a tremendous response from the students as it is a state level event conducted by Radio Mirchi. The Highest level of participation made by the students of Thatawade campus to make this event a remarkable one. The event happened as one of the best of its kind event.

On 27th of August 2016, JIMS organised an event “College Ke Tashanbaaz : Season – 4′: conversation with Jonita of RED FM”.

This event has attracted a tremendous response from the students. ‘College Ke Tashanbaaz’ moved across individual colleges with the judges picking one winner from each participating college. A grand city finale will be held in popular youth spots like malls in each of the cities, where these chosen college winners competed against each other till one city winner emerged.
