About Placement MCA:

 The role of the Training and Placement Cell is a facilitator and councilor for placement related activities.  Placement cell extend placement services even after the completion of degree.

It is a matter of great pleasure for the Institute to take this opportunity to invite potential companies to experience and evaluate the dexterity, competency, skills and talent of our students and absorb them into their esteemed organizations.

  Dr. Deepak Rajvanshi
  MBA, Ph. D.

 Dr. Deepak Rajvanshi is an alumnus of    Savitribai  Phule University of Pune. He has a    total work  experience of 14     years out of which  he has spent 6 years in Industry and 8 years into Academics. His contribution is in the field of Human Resource Management.He has an industry exposure in Human Resource Management with special focus on Training and Development, Performance Management, HR Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities of TPO:
 Create a system to have an ongoing communication between the Institute and the students to have relevant competency development programs.

  • Manage and monitor overall activities associated with identifying, planning & building competencies of all the students.
  • Conduct need based training program for the students.
  • Prepare students for challenges to be faced in the industry / corporate sector through proper and planned career guidance.

Emphasis on Interview Skills and Communication Skills required for Industry

Placement Policies

Placement policies:

The placement policies shall be applicable to all the students registered for the 2015-16 campus placements of JSPM’s JIMS and is to be followed during the entire duration of the placement activity.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA Students:

 Students of JSPM’s JIMS expected to complete his/her degrees by July 2016 are eligible to register.

 Guidelines for Policy:

 The role of the TPO (Training and placement officer) is of a facilitator and counselor for placement related activities. Applying for a company or joining a company is entirely the responsibility/decision of the student concerned.

Placement Objective and Training Program:


  • To develop our students according to the various needs of the concerned industry.
  • To arrange training for the students in aptitude tests, Group discussion, personal interview     techniques & personality development.
  • To motivate the students to learn different technologies.
  • To provide good employment opportunities to our students.

Training Program:

  • Aptitude test preparation and Communication skills.
  • Group discussions.
  • Personal interviews.
  • Technical session on advance topics.
  • Confidence building.
  • Etiquettes and manners.

Activities taken for placement improvement:

  • Involvement of industrial experts in college activities such as seminars and competitions as experts.
  • Pre-placement training of students by arranging training courses from Professional Institutes.
  • Institute gives more emphasis on long term relationship with the companies.
