Fresher’s WEL-COME party organized by JSPM’S Charak College of Pharmacy & Research, Wagholi, Pune
Fresher’s WEL-COME party was organized by the students of JSPM’S Charak College of Pharmacy & Research, Wagholi, Pune on 14th August 2015 to welcome the newly admitted students of B. Pharm and M. Pharm.
All the seniors students participated in the activity and prepared a excellent program which included the fun, dances, singing activity. The games were also organized for the students. Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher were declared based on their performance in the activity. The Mr. fresher was Mr. Potale Mayur and Mrs. Fresher was Miss Porab Minal . Principal Dr. K.G. Baheti and staff inaugurated the event by lighting the candle. Dr. Baheti K. G. addressed the students. In his address note he has mentioned the importance between the relation of senior and junior students and emphasized that how this relation will be fruitful in their future life.

Purohit, BharatiVidyapeeth Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune has delivered a nice lecture on USFDA guidelines-Nasal Spray.
The seminar was enogurated by Dr. ravi Joshi, Mr. Vijay Swant, Director JSPM and Dr. S. G. Bhope, Principal College of Pharmacy, Shikrapur. More than 100 delegates from different part of Maharashtra were present during day of seminar

College fetched BCUD projects funds from SavitribaiPhulePune University worth rupees 5.40 Lac.
Dr. K. G. Baheti received 2.80 Lac funds for project entitled “Design, Synthesis and Pharmacological Evaluation of Therapeutically Active Hybrid Analogue of Sulphonyl Uears and Thiazolidine Dione as Antidiabetic Agents”.
Prof. Sandip S. Kshirsagar received 2.80 Lac funds for project entitled “HPLC Based Determination of Cytochrome P1A2 (CYP1A2) and Cytochrome P1B1 (CYP1B1)”.

EnvironmentalScience Tour (Date:27/12/2014)
As per the curriculum the college organized one day environmental tour to a place where students will understand the importance of environment. This year the college organized tour at Shivneri fort and Lenyadri Ganapati,Tal: Junnar, Dist: Pune.The 62 students of B. Pharmacy second year were enthusiastically participated. College organized the bus facility. The teaching staff Prof. Sunil Hadke, Prof. TrushalChorage. Prof. HemlataNimje were accompanied the students.
Students of Second Year B.Pharmacy have studied different types of rocks, rare plants species,awarenessabout how to maintain our environment clean, noise free, pollution free. The properties of different types of stone, and information about mountains have been collected.
